...Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion

On Sunday, May 17, 2026, thousands of Americans across the nation gathered at the National Mall to rededicate our nation under God during a prayer rally called, “Rededicate 250: A National Jubilee of Prayer, Praise, & Thanksgiving.” I watched a few clips on social media. I saw American flags, Trump hats, and signs with “Jesus Saves” written on them. The president appeared on a screen and read 2 Chronicles 7:14. Conservative politicians, religious leaders, and musicians read scriptures, testified, preached, and sang gospel songs.
I read about a Christian organization that protested the prayer rally a few miles away from the National Mall. I was intrigued, so I looked at their website. This organization celebrates diversity, advocates for equality, and believes in inclusion. For example, this organization supported, “All Roads Lead to the South,” a national day of action for voting rights that was held twenty-four hours prior on Saturday, May 16, 2026. It was nice to see a Christian organization that was not afraid to stand up for social justice.
In addition, this organization denounces Christian nationalism and aims to spread the true love of Christ in an inclusive society. Wow! This was music to my ears, but my ears were itching. 2 Timothy 4:3-4 states, “For the time is coming when people will not endure sound teaching, but having itching ears they will accumulate for themselves teachers to suit their own passions, and will turn away from listening to the truth and wander off into myths.” Your sister in Christ wandered off into myths for a few minutes. I saw inclusion, diversity, and equality on their website, which suits my passions. I long to live in a society that welcomes diversity wholeheartedly, without laws and mandates prompting them, but I would have to turn away from listening to the truth in order to follow this organization. So! I couldn’t rejoice in that either.
Godlessness in the Last Days
“…Having the appearance of godliness, but denying its power. Avoid such people” (2 Timothy 3:5)
- Inclusion– This organization believes there are multiple paths to God; they welcome and affirm every religion and denomination. They do not believe that Jesus is the only way to God because that is not inclusive, so they reject this idea. To them, a loving God would not create ONE way to get to Him.
- Diversity– This organization welcomes diverse thoughts and opinions about scriptures. The organization believes scripture is based on an individual’s interpretation; therefore, the organization views the Bible as a book of inspired stories about the divine but does not view it as literal words from God.
- Equality– This organization believes that men and women are created equally, so they adopted gender neutral language to eliminate male dominant language in the Bible. For example, Father- God is referred to as Mother-Father, God; mankind is called humankind.
In this context, inclusion, diversity, and equality are a threat to the kingdom and I want no part of it. People that focus on social justice issues but fail to honor our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ are wolves in sheep’s clothing. If you don’t believe me, check out one of the Satanic groups online. They advocate for social justice issues and the separation of church and state too. Why is that important? It is important because our passions can lead us to the enemy. Who is the enemy? The enemy is anyone who tries to separate us from the love of Christ and attempts to elevate themselves above Jesus Christ. Don’t be deceived! No one can intercede for us like Jesus can. He is our Savior! He is the King of Kings and Lord of Lords. He opens doors that no man can close, and he closes doors no man can open. We don’t need people who play on our emotions so they can lead us away from the WORD of God. Jesus is the Word, by the way (John 1:14). Think about it. Then, go to the Father, and pray about it.
