Q: When is the Soul Searching Sister Gathering?

A: The Soul Searching Sister Gathering will be held on Saturday, November 1, 2025 from 9:30-4:00 PM in Huntsville, Alabama. The specific location will be provided after registration.

Q: What’s the difference between Soul Searching with Our Father and the Soul Searching Sister Gathering?

A: On October 27, 2020, I launched my blog, Soul Searching with Our Father. My posts include topics such as race, politics, and religion. For example, my second post was on the day of the 2020 presidential election. Talk about a difficult time in our country! I was so nervous. I didn’t know what people would say, but I didn’t have to worry about that. The Holy Spirit made it clear that I had to deactivate comments on our posts, so we could go to the Father with our cares and concerns. While it did not give us an opportunity to connect personally about issues that concerned us, it gave us an opportunity to connect with our Father and hear his voice at a time when we needed it most! After awhile, I started ending every post the same way: “Think about it. Then, go to the Father and pray about it. Soul Searching with Our Father.”

In January of this year, I felt a prompting by the Holy Spirit to write a prayer journal and devotional. My prayer is that this journal will be a safe space for us to go to the Father and pray about issues that truly concern us. Now, after what seems like a lifetime, the Father is giving us permission to gather as sisters on Saturday, November 1, 2025 in Huntsville, Alabama. We will discuss topics (in person) that pose a threat to our sisterhood, and we will take our concerns to our Heavenly Father by praying for one another.

So, to answer the question, the Soul Searching Sister Gathering is an extension of our Soul Searching community.
