Recap: November 1, 2025
On November 1, 2025, we held our inaugural Soul Searching Sister Gathering at The Vision in Huntsville, Alabama. Months later, I can truly say that my cup continues to overflow. What happened in that room birthed a movement that shifted our focus from the world to the WORD of God that anchors us. We will be forever changed, and we are no longer bound by worldly influences. For example, I thought the mission was to unite Democrats and Republicans. I was excited to show women who voted differently that we can still serve God together and love one another. Yet, as the gathering drew closer, I realized that was not the mission for this Soul Searching Sister Gathering. God was bringing his daughters together, so we can put HIM first in our lives. Our political affiliation, church denomination, race, or culture does not mandate who we are, what we believe in, or how we love and serve one another. Satan has used these tactics for far too long, but we will no longer allow Him to divide us. This Soul Searching journey is based on putting Christ first in our lives because our identity is in Him.
A Special Thank You

I would like to take this moment to thank Sister Barbara Jones, owner of Rena’s Homemade Butter Rolls, Minister Lorinda Ward, Sister Denise Keeter, Sister Dawn Holley, Author of 22 Keys to Joy, Sister Patricia Jefferson, and Sister Keisha Wilson, owner of Tea Time Christian Book & More Store, for running this race with me! Your love, support, and sisterhood means more than you will ever know. Every time you enter a room, Christ’s light has an opportunity to shine bright, and the Soul Searching Sister Gathering was no different. For example, as we gathered around the table for lunch, I watched you pour into women through your words and deeds. It just confirmed why God called you to join me. Again, I say, “Thank You!” While there will be other Soul Searching Sister Gatherings, this one will always have a special place in my heart because of you and the women that attended.
Mark Your Calendar
