What if he wins again?
As the clock ticks, my heart pounds and I ponder. What if he wins again? What does that mean for me? What does it mean for my sisters? What does it mean for our country? What does it mean for the world? Some of our brothers and sisters in Christ, imagine a world where unborn babies will have a leader to protect them, and that truly gives them peace. (I love their heart for Christ and I truly respect them).
A Different Reality
Yet, I imagine a much different world, so I am anxious. I imagine a world where mothers will not receive proper medical care and will ultimately lose their lives due to ambiguous abortion bans. I experienced two heart wrenching miscarriages early in our marriage that required a dilation and curettage (D&C) procedure to prevent infection after my babies passed away. My heart breaks for those in similar situations who couldn’t receive the care they need. That is NOT a part of God’s design. He cares about the mothers who need proper care as much as he does the unborn babies who return to Him before they ever take their first breath. So, as I cast my vote today, I thought about the precious angel babies who are called back to heaven and the mothers who are left to grieve for them. I did my part to ensure that the mothers would receive proper health care after a heartbreaking loss. I don’t have to think about it. I already went to the Father and prayed about it.
